and Ngati Whatua descent and come from a large whanau of 8, born and raised in Whangarei. I have lived in Auckland for over 15 years now with my Cook Island husband and our 4 children. I have work experience across Manufacturing, Internal Sales, Operational Logistics and Customer Services. I am currently working in the SCS Business Improvement team as Project Support.
What role did you start working at SCS ie: Casual? How long have you been employed by SCS?
I have been part of the SCS Whanau for over 5 years now, started as a Customer Services Rep.
What did you know about SCS before you joined the team?
I knew it was a logistics company that provided a wide range of services for multiple customers.
What has been your biggest achievement working for SCS so far?
Progressing to my current role with the support of the SCS leadership team who have recognised my strengths and supported my growth within the business.
How has SCS supported your Career?
I am a mother of 4 with my youngest born in 2011. SCS has supported me by providing flexible work hours and the ability to work from home long before COVID-19 forced the work from home requirement. SCS has also promoted job opportunities internally so we all know what growth opportunities are available.
What do you enjoy the most about working for SCS?
The people! We have an amazing bunch of people across diverse cultures who respect each other and work amazing together.
