Last Year’s Silly Season

Date

As mentioned in earlier updates, last year’s silly season was our biggest ever!

It was also unusual in its profile. Often the last few days of the season start to quieten down but this season we had three of our largest clients pick up the pace in the final two days. This added even more challenges (around exhaustion) on top of the unprecedented volumes.

Conversely January has turned out uncharacteristically quiet. Often January can be as busy as December but this year it’s not. The good news is that the team is fully refreshed – that which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger – and the team having been through such a ‘baptism by fire’ are possibly tighter than ever before.

Every cloud has a silver lining!
